LONDON — Brazil forward Ronaldinho has been selected footballer of the decade by World Soccer magazine.

The AC Milan playmaker, who won the 2002 World Cup with Brazil and 2006 Champions League with Barcelona, finished ahead of Argentina forward Lionel Messi and Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo in the voting.

He did most of his damage early part of the 2000's, really fallen off ladder part.
