aww dat sucks. u should buy a new 1. dats all i got. cuz even if u get da other 1 2 work ur gonna have probs with it it happened 2 me once trust me u don't wanna go thru wat i had 2 do...long story.

dont have it yet.
ordered it online... BECAUSE i was getting tired of going around my city trying to find it & no one had it.
best buy sells it for more expensive so i didnt want to get it there.. other places are delayed.. so i just decided to have it delivered to my house. shipping was free anyway.

Hmm i have the first touch but it should work the same as the 2nd Gen...

anyways go to settings, and click on the wifi button which should be the first one on top. Then you should be given a choice of which network you want to connect to. Just choose the one you use to connect your computer to the internet....anyways it will probably ask you for a password so you should figure that out so you can be able to connect.

Did you get a case? You should do that ASAP. I waited a few weeks before I got one and even though I was always careful when handling it, the back ended up with several scratches. But I guess if you get an ipod, you should always expect that shiny part to get scratched up.

One downside of the touch, and actually all ipods that play video, is the limited video formats allowed

I suggest getting Videora iPod Converter by Red Kawa. It's freeware.

You pretty much can do anything with your ipod after you jailbreak it. You can customize the look of your springboard, you can get applications that you can't get on app store like gameboy, nes, and a lot of other stuff....lol idk how to explain all of it but it's worth it. Just google it and you can see all the possibilities or just youtube it and see what people did to their ipods...




you can also pirate app store apps...haha

Gives you access to its filesystem so that you can install programs on your own. Doesn't matter though. 2nd gen ipod touch has yet to be jailbroken.
