any advantages for one over the other...trying to figure which system to rent/buy for

All I know is that on PS3 in the "EXTRAS" section theres a hi def 20 minute movie about the background of Ezio's (the Assassin you play) father (who also is a Assassin).
On PS3 the movie and all the games graphics are in full high def 1080p blu-ray.
As far as downloads as extras theres a spot for it in the PS Store but nothing is available yet.
I heard there will be a extra city map and missions and weapons in the future.
I dont know if the xbox game has all that because I'm a PS faithfull and dont own it on xbox.
But I know that the basic game play and missions is the same on both because I've read many reviews.

If I haven't played the 1st one should I play that before the 2nd? Or does it not really matter? :hmm:

I agree with KB24. The story line for part 2 starts exactly where part 1 ended. And it doesnt completely fill in gaps to catch people up on the story. But if the best story line in video games since Zelda doesnt really matter to you and you just want to play a awesome game, the go for 2. Then do 1 later....like Star Wars....lol

I'm going [expletive]in nuts waiting for Brotherhood to come out.
I'm assuming Brotherhood is an extension of AC2. So its like AC2-B

I dont this there isnt anything left for me to do in AC BH. I beat the missions. I got all feathers, flags. Solved glyph puzzles. Unlocked all weapons. Completed all the theif, courtesan and military missions/tasks.
All my recruits are Assasins and they completed every quest.
I'm gonna go through and replay any missions I didnt have 100% sync on. I beat the game at 86% sync.
I dont think I can beat those two Romulous missions in under 8 mins each though. Thats crazy fast.
