sorry this is super late and pretty ghetto everyone...i had work until 7:00, followed by packing and driving to anaheim. better late than never...HUGE game with phoenix's victory tonight, can't afford to let them go 9-1 and us 6-2

I'm thinking that LO will guard Frye and Bynum will guard STAT. Their front line is thin, and I expect LA to punish the Suns in the paint. J-Rich has been on fire this season from behind the 3 point line, and I hope we can slow him down. There is no need to talk about Kobe, b/c he will kill Grant or whoever guards him in the post. Hopefully our defense can slow them down.

I predict this to be a pretty close game all the way with the Lakers ultimately pulling away with a 5-12 point victory.

Keep in mind Phoenix is playing tonight on a back-to-back since they just played yesterday demolishing the Hornets @ Phoenix, but also, keep in mind, because of that blowout, their starters/most important players got a ton of rest, so they shouldn't be that tired for tonight, plus of course the always there motivation for any team in playing a team like us.

Who do you think will be guarding him? Kobe or Ron or both switching off as the game goes on depending on amount of success?

I think Kobe will start off on J-rich, but if he starts lighting us up and hitting open threes, Ron Ron will guard him. Remember when Joe Johnson was lighting Kobe up, due to him gambling and Ron volunteered to guard him. Joe was silent in that second half. This is why i love the addition of Artest.

That's true J-Hizz, but it's obvious sometimes Kobe gets lit up because of his laziness defensively and to some degree, I don't blame him, especially when he's guarding great players and in the first half because we really don't want him expending all of his energy so quickly since we need & want him to score and do so much on the offensive end.

That's true. Kobe does get lazy on the defensive end. He usually exhibits his great on ball defense when he is motivated and he guards players like D-Wade, Bron, etc. I know he has to save some of his energy for offesne, but I can't lie and say that it doesn't piss me off when he leaves shooters open. I always yell at the TV when he does that..lol.

Regardless, we will see a combination of Kobe and Ron on J-rich. Kobe has the quickness, and Ron has the strength to bother Richardson.
