Raiders win. LJ has no line, Croyle can't throw, and that D is trash.
Croyle is out. I'm wondering if you watched the Raiders first game? If you did, how can you talk trash about any other team? No offense, I have nothing against the Raiders, but they looked like a JV team. At this point, I wouldn't be guaranteeing wins against any team.

I stick by my team no matter what. I try to look at positives, and stay away from negativity. Is it hard to do that being a Raider fan? Yes. but they're my team through thick and thin.

After the ROYAL butt whipping they received before a national audience, I hope they have some pride in at least being competitive. I think they will play much better. Monday night was atrocious. Johnson might not have a line as some believe but if the Raider's league last run defense plays true to form then that advantage is moot. It was last year and the last game does not detract from it. Huard will go at Hall after the Chiefs' coaching staff sees what Denver did. It will be a close game...or at least that's what I'd expect.
I forgot to tell you this in the other thread. Oakland isn't last in run D, KC is.
And if thee was one bright spot in out D this past week, it was our Run D.

If that is the case, then it will take the pressure off Russell to make plays and there's balance. From what I saw in the 2nd Quarter to the end of the game, the Broncos were getting 5 to 6 yards per pop running the ball. It was effective enought for Cutler to do play action off first and second downs. If they can stiffen up front, it will definitely help.

This game is very winnable. Only person on D that worries me is Tamba Hali. They let go of the best pass rusher in the NFL so they're pass D should be even worse.

There's some positives for Oakland going into the game. The key for them is to take the crowd out early at Arrowhead by controlling the tempo. Russell did not make any mistakes Monday night and managed the game fairly well. All this without any receivers of note. Walker and Lelie are desperately needed. I like the tight end Miller who I think can play. It's the defense that HAS TO step up and make consistent stops. I've been a Raider fan since the Plunkett era and the last game was painful. Hell, the last two seasons have been painful.

Former Raiders defender Warren Sapp pulled no punches recently when discussing the team's chances this season, according to Sporting News.
"As far as where the Raiders are going, they have unrealistic ideas about what their people can do," Sapp said on Showtime's Inside the NFL. "That was the experience I had in the four years I was there. They asked people to do stuff they were physically impossible of doing."
"They’re going to suck."
