Nnot surprised. This was a "rebuilding year" for SC. I jusst can't wait to see Barkley next seasno. I wonder if SC gets an At large bid.

I wouldn't call it a rebuilding year. But I knew with a freshman QB that we had a very slim chance at a National Title. I knew Oregon had a very good chance of beating us this year as I said in the Oregon St-SC thread.

7 straight years as Pac-10 Champions is still a great accomplishment. It was going to come to an end eventually and to tell you the truth, I'd rather have someone take the title away from us rather then us losing it. And rather have a team like Oregon do it, instead of a team like UCLA haha.

I think whats funny is for the first time in seven years, I feel like a regular college football fan. USC has been so amazing over the last few years that I feel like there's no team better than them. I do wish we had McCoy and Havili to see how our offense would have been but we still would have lost with how our defense played.
