David Letterman he is not -- only a few days after news broke of ESPN analyst Steve Phillips' affair with a 22-year-old production assistant, he's out of a job.
An ESPN spokesperson said Phillips' ability to be an effective analyst was "significantly and irreparably damaged" -- so the sports network decided to give him the old heave-ho.

Also miss Stephen A Smith cuz although he was annoying for some at times, I always respected and admired that he'd say whatever he felt like saying and wasn't afraid to go the non politically correct route.

Smith didn't get fired did he?Yeah I remember that guy. I thought he was pretty cool as well. Was upset when ESPN canned his arse.
