I think its the same story this year.
As for Oregon. C'mon warren2thaG, whens the last time USC got dominated by someone under Pete Carroll?
USC will be ready come next week. They already won is hostile enviroments like Ohio State, Cal, and Notre Dame. They are battle tested. Besides the hiccup at Washington, where our backup QB played like a 3rd stringer, the Trojans have played well behind Matt Barkley. I think some are underestimating USC and thats fine with me.

You just sound like a typical SC hater.
Although there is a good chance that Oregon can beat SC next week, to call the defense a joke is just unfounded. Oregon State has played SC well the last few years. They seem to know how to play SC better than anyone in the country. Barkley threw a couple picks and OSU were able to turn those picks into points on the ensuing drive, and that really helped their momentum. I give credit to OSU, I thought they would roll over when SC got a lead, but they played with confidence and a never say die attitude.
As for next weeks showdown.
Statistically, USC is better than Oregon in almost every category except points scored. Our defense is better then Oregon's and our passing offense is better. Oregon's rushing offense statistically is better, but USC has so much versatility, they are hard to contain.
It should be a good game. The games at Ohio State and ND have prepared us for this game. I can't wait to see these two teams go at it.
Fight on!
