If I remember correctly, he fractured his foot in practice when he landed on Lamar Odom's foot. Didn't Pau get a high ankle sprain in the same manner?

Yeah... that's what I thought. I'm pretty sure he landed on Odom's foot.

Landing on someone's foot causes an ankle sprain and/or damage to the foot nearly every time. It has nothing to do with Ariza, but when you twist your foot like that something is gonna happen. And as for what L.A.K.E.R. said, it was actually Fish. He got ligament damage from landing on someone's foot, I think it was LO too.

My bad

If Ariza does in fact break out, and he will get more playing time then Radmanovic and Walton because Radmonovic plays very lazy and is only good when he has his scoring streaks here and there, and Walton is just an average player and is not worth his contract, so if Ariza breaks out, those 2 will be traded and Ariza and Bynum will both be re-signed, Ariza is a terrific defender and his jump-shot can be developed

There won't be much room for experiment at SF this year. Ariza is solidly placed on the bench until we trade LO.

If we were a great defensive team or had a coach that was more than passingly interested in defense, I'd say Ariza would have a decent chance at 4 mil/year...if he played well, even off the bench. As it stands, there will be some other team that values his defense more and Ariza bolts, alot like Michael Peitrus.

If they trade LO or Vlad or Luke, Ariza's chances go up (assuming they DON'T trade for a good to elite 3). If Ariza became a reliable spot-up shooter, he could increase those chances 5 fold.

First off, Ariza isn't going to break out, because he's not going to be a starter. If Trevor has any chance of breaking out, he's going to have to be given a starting role first, or he won't have that enthusiasm to do so.

I want Trevor to get the opportunity to shine. For that to happen he needs minutes. Ship LO/Farmar/Walton** out for Heinrich/TT (and fillers). Outlook:

Heinrich/Fish
Kobe/ :D
Ariza/Vlad
Pau/TT
Drew/Mihm

Do it Mitch!

**Yeah I know: PIPE because no one will want Walton

He actually was right on. He said the only way he'll break out is if it gets a starting role, which he has been given.
