Anybody else remember this story?

Forgive me cause I'm old and senile...

One of my favorite Lakers' "moments" (post Magic) was during the 3Peat. Kobe and Shaq were being immature children (of course) for the entire season. They get to the playoffs against some team (I think SAC or IND). Shaq calls Kobe up and they meet at a bar or restaurant (or somewhere). Shaq tells Kobe (or other way around) that they've been thru alot together and even though they have their differences, it's time to go to work.

They go out, put their crap to the side and prove why they were the most dominant duo since MJ and Pip.

I'm sorry for the shaky details. I remember the interview and the story, just not all of the details. If someone else can correct, I'd be mucho appreciative... :thankyou:

I have two for different reasons.

The first is Magics first game agains the then san diego clippers. Kareem hit a skyhook at the buzzer and magic celbrated by jumping in to Jabar's arms as if they had just won the title. At that point I knew we had something truly speacial for years to come.

The second.. obvious.. Magic's Baby hook in boston....

And the most heart-wrenching.

Grandma: You know, when I was nineteen, Grandpa took me on a roller coaster.
Gil: Oh?
Grandma: Up, down, up, down. Oh, what a ride!
Gil: (sarcasm) What a great story.
Grandma: I always wanted to go again. You know, it was just so interesting to me that a ride could make me so frightened, so scared, so sick, so excited, and so thrilled all together! Some didn't like it. They went on the merry-go-round. That just goes around. Nothing. I like the roller coaster. You get more out of it.

Tough question, the first thing that came to mind was Magic's baby hook against Boston.

Kobe's two big shots, a tier and a winner, against the Suns were awesome. But the funniest part of the game was how Smush did something to help the team.
