i missed the spain game. i cant believe the swiss won. they could have scored 2 more times as well.

I thought I would see serious comments on TLN, but It's just the same as in Spain...


Well they said coming into the tournament they were a top 3 favorite and no team that has lost the 1st game of the first round has gone on to win the tournament. Considering the high expectations and the tournaments history, its only logical for me to think their exit is sooner rather than later

Well, stats are there to be broken don't you think? Just as when Spain "never" passed quarterfinals of an important tournament.
I beleive this loss makes the team stronger. The problem is that the press "made" them the favourites, and they probably sunk a bit into that "illusion"

Crazy how mex fans always show up for Mexico no matter where they play. 30,000 Mex fans at the game and the stadium only holds about 45,000. :rock:
