"The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences,
and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon,
for each day to have a new and different sun."

I'm a little worried about Portland, but they are a very young team that still has a lot of developing left to do and I don't see their frontcourt of Oden/Aldridge being able to keep up with Bynum/Pau simply due to experience. They don't have an answer for Kobe, and, if Lamar ever plays like he's shown he's capable of doing, then Portland would be no problem.
Portland has scary potential, but at the moment, it's only potential. It'll take them a few years to develop into a contender, and by that time, contract issues will keep the team from staying intact.

Mavs have disappeared.
Suns are done.
The Hornets are the newest team to reach the Western conference elite. Along with them we have the Jazz who are still dangerous, and Houston of course if they live up to their expectations for once (and they should be much better this year, with Artest added and hopefully no big injuries). Spurs (and us of course) should round out the top 5 west teams barring injury.
Portland will be a great young team and will make the playoffs, but they aren't a threat to the elites... yet.

Hornets, we get killed on the PnR.
Spurs are always good competition.
Jazz will only get better.

The Clippers.Definitely New Orleans and Houston, but there is bound to be another surprise team in the West that does really well.

Team Farmar

yep, clippers....just you wait and see.
I see faith in your eyes
never you hear the discouraging lies
broken is the promise, betrayal
the healing hand held back by deepened nail
follow the god that failed

New Orleans
SA
Jazz
these 4 teams are all we need to care for...and SA and Jazz are not really dangerous...we beat them without Drew easily and we gonna dominate them now anyway...
