LONDON -- A 10-year-old British girl has been barred from trying to sell her granny on eBay.

Zoe Pemberton put her 61-year-old grandmother up for sale on the auction website with no reserve price, describing her as "annoying and moaning a lot."

But Zoe added she could also be "very cuddly and loves word searches."

The Daily Mail reports that bids hit $31,860, before eBay shut down the auction for breaching "strict sales policies" by selling a human being.

Zoe says she meant no harm.

She told her father she was just trying to help find someone to care for Goodall.

Well, I'm glad that eBay has policies preventing the sale of humans.
