Has anyone watched this show? The pilot and the second episode was hilarious! It's like the Office (which is probably why I like it) only it involves different types of families. I think this show has staying power

Yes I have, seen about two episodes, but actually payed attention for once to the most recent one I saw. At first I was only recording it and forwarding through all of it not really giving the actual show a chance but just trying to check out any scenes where Sofia looked hot or something and then slow-mo'ing with the DVR control, but yeah I think it has tremendous potential. The only storyline I obviously don't like or enjoy is that of the gay couple, but the dude with the blonde wife is pretty funny & seems cool, & of course Al Bundy + Sofia Vergara is an awesome combination.

24LakerGold, you oughta' edit the title of this thread & add featuring Sofia Vergara & Al Bundy. I guarantee that'll help it get a few more views & possibly hits. I'd do it for you if I could, but unfortunately I didn't create it. I should've though. I love having control over thread titles. Not too many people ever update either in most cases.

how do you edit the title? i'm relatively new to this so can't find it anywhere. lol at Al Bundy and Sofia Vergara. I think adding Sofia Vergara will guarantee hits. I

Also did you know this was produced by the Doc, Christopher Lloyd???

Actually starring would be more appropriate in this case than featuring. Featuring would go more for like a hip-hop/rap song or something.

How to edit thread title?

Simply go to your first post of the thread, click Edit. Then click Use Full Editor, which should be located in a yellow box in white text and then you'll see you have the option of editing your thread title as well and or even putting something in the Topic Description AKA the line below. If you do decide to put Al Bundy, do it & don't put Ed O'Neill, guarantee Al Bundy will get you a lot more views & possibly hits than a boring name like Ed O'Neill. Everybody knows who Al Bundy is anyway.

Also did you know this was produced by the Doc, Christopher Lloyd???

C. Lloyd?

Whoah!! No! Had no idea! Never would've imagined it. That's pretty sweet.

there we go! Thanks a lot!

my mistake about christopher lloyd. i thought it was the Doc but it's actually a different Christopher Lloyd, the executive producer of Frasier, Wings and the Golden Girls

Al Bundy is a gangster...

Fixed. Yeah, he's awesome. He's a total badarse on the show for sure.

Anyone else not give a lick about the gay couple & all their scenes?

I think they have their funny moments, but my favorite characters on the show are Mr. Bundy and the weird husband of Bundy's daughter (Virginia Venit in Happy Gilmore)...

I didn't care much for the gay couple either. Al Bundy's kid is really funny. And Bundy's daughter's weird husband reminds me so much of Michael Scott. I didn't know the wife was from Happy Gilmore

Now that you mention it, I can see that too.

& I didn't notice Bundy's daughter (real name: Julie Bowen) was the chick in Happy Gilmore until AC mentioned it either.

Edward's joining Modern Family

http://www.intouchweekly.com/2009/10/edwards_joining_a_modern_famil.php

Edward Norton will guest-star on the ABC comedy Modern Family, and the cast couldn't be happier.

"He's a funny actor and the part they wrote for him is really funny," says series star Eric Stonestreet. Ed's episode will air next month.

Sounds cool. Ed Norton's an amazing actor and I can see the funny side in him as well.

Wow...Shelly Long with the clutch guest appearance last week and now Mr. Tyler Durden himself?

I'm guessing he will be a gay guy, or a friend of the gay couple...just my instincts...

This show and Entourage are my favorite right now. I hope it gets bigger and more people watch it.
