how does it compare with the older degrassis? I've only seen Degrassic jr high and Degrassic the high school version (and the movie) and have no idea about the next gen. Are the plots recycled?

^Basically season 1, 2, 3 and 4 are the best. ( Degressi the next generation)
They made some stupid plots for the characters like Manny, Paige and Jimmy. They got rid of Sean, the most interesting character IMO.

exactly, show died after season 4. Sean left and all the good characters had whack plots. Spinner, Paige, Jay, Sean and Ellie.I'm not used to the new people
