[Basketball Reasons]

Jahvid Best was my heisman pick going into the season, and hes just tearing it up. Considering McCoy hasnt really gotten going, and giving the Heisman twice to someone is extremely rare (but possible, Tebow is... Tebow), I'd say Best has a great opportunity to make a "run" at it. At the very least he's going to create alot of noise and will probably be one of the first RB's drafted.

I'll make a pitch for Jimmy Clausen for Heisman. In order for him to be a legit candidate by season's end, they cannot lose more than one game, including a Bowl Game, I think. So I'll start there. But for present, he's putting up some awesome numbers and he's playing injured. I don't know how many of you have seen him hobble onto the field two games ago and lead the Irish to a 4th and goal with 24 seconds left and then toss a TD pass to win the game. Then next game (last weekend) he led a game tying drive and then a TD drive in OT to win the game. He has been quite good and is leading the nation in passer rating, I believe.

According to the school, Bryant violated NCAA Bylaw 10.1, which addresses "unethical conduct" and includes "Knowingly furnishing the NCAA or the individual's institution false or misleading information concerning the individual's involvement in or knowledge of matters relevant to a possible violation of an NCAA regulation."

1. In my opinion, Tebow won't play. He suffered a grade 3 concussion. What is a Grade 3 concussion?

Grade 3 concussions involve any loss of consciousness, either brief or prolonged.

The American Academy of Neurology recommends rest periods of between one and two weeks depending on the type and number of Grade 1 and 2 concussions, and one month or longer for an athlete who sustains multiple Grade 3 concussions.

Sure it's only a recommendation, but is it worth risking the rest of his career for this game? He is a "game-time" decision only because they want to make LSU to prepare for both offenses. Tim Tebow runs the ball 20+ times a game, and Brantley has a stronger arm according to fans.
If he's cleared, some people will be unemployed at the end of the game.

2. Game is not played in Florida, don't know where you got that from, but it's bull crap. The swamp is Florida and there is no mistaking it. Game is in death valley, at night. Where LSU has been just about flawless in the past couple of years.
