Michael C. Hall signed his new 2 year deal and the producers said that year / season 8 will be the end.
Supposedly they're in a 3 year arc towards the definitive end with this season acting as year 1. Excited to see where the show is headed.

Season 6: Nothing happens
Season 7: Nothing happens
Season 8: Something might happen by the very end

I think she'll wind up following him on one of his "something came up" excuses and find something out she doesn't wanna know. Maybe see him with Travis at some point.

So many things getting put into play, makes me wonder where all of it is heading...
(Spoilers)
* Quinn and Batista getting into it
* Finding out the computer guy intern bought the hand and buried the auction, lying to the department
* Revealing that Gellar is a figment of Travis's imagination (I finally guessed right about something on this show after 6 years - ha!)
* Deborah learning to change her routines to break the patterns in her life has to lead her close to the truth about Dexter by season's end
Yep, still my favorite show on television.
"The Walking Dead" can take a lesson from Dexter in how to pace a show to develop character but still keep things interesting and suspenseful.

Great episode again tonight!
So many things getting put into play, makes me wonder where all of it is heading...
(Spoilers)
* Quinn and Batista getting into it - I see both being suspended and investigated by IA.
* Finding out the computer guy intern bought the hand and buried the auction, lying to the department - I have no idea what this guys doing. He's a creeper.
* Revealing that Gellar is a figment of Travis's imagination (I finally guessed right about something on this show after 6 years - ha!) - YOU CALLED IT! +1. Serial killers rarely have partners, I should have known.
* Deborah learning to change her routines to break the patterns in her life has to lead her close to the truth about Dexter by season's end - Deb will catch heat over the misconduct of Batista and Quinn and be forced out(possibility fired or suspended). This clears time for Deb to reflect, grow suspicions around Dexter.
My 2 cents.

Dexter can take a lesson from The Walking Dead on how to have well-written dialogue, side-plots that have a purpose, and how to create more than 2 characters that people actually care about.

WOW! Sorry Jumper but I totally disagree.

I was kind of thinking that the intern who bought the hand may be the guy that kind of keys into what Dexter is doing, and eventually condone it. He was following Dexter around like a puppy dog before, got the job at the department for video game research rather than the actual job and now shows that he is kind into all serial killers. He's an interesting character.
Forgot to bring up the chief side plot as well. I get the feeling that LaGuerta will eventually rat out the chief and step up to his post.

There's definitely some weird stuff going on with Louis. I don't know if any of you guys noticed this, but earlier in the season, Louis recommended a search engine to Dexter called Elliot. In the last episode, you can see Dexter still using the same search engine. There has to be a reason for that. I wouldn't be surprised if Louis knows about Dexter being a killer, and is using the search engine to track his searches for even more proof.
That would be DOPE!
I did notice the screen I thought it was his police database.

Louis. Just stop. You don't want to meet the dark passenger.
dark passenger I always think
That scene with Deb and Dexter(the dream) made me really uncomfortable. Has to be hard filming a scene like that with your EX.
