Got to see the first episode of this coming season already and it's damn good.

Great return to some of the humor that was more prevalent in seasons 1 and 2 and the story this time around looks interesting.

Agree. The religious discussions he has with Dexter come off good(not preachy). Religious talk(to me) is always dicey. This seasons done a nice job.

The judgement day killings have been pretty gruesome( ) The angel one reminded me of something out of saw.

I like the new guy. Anderson? Will be sad to see Ryan go.

Yeah, I did not see that ending coming. I love having Brian as the devil on Dexter's should to oppose the angel his Dad has become. Kinda cool to see all the killers come together in one season. I wonder if they'll integrate others somehow.

Reading some forums that a couple writers of the show plugged into is interesting as well. Supposedly the next 2 episodes hold quite a few surprises for everyone.

I'm kinda wondering if Noah is the one that knocked off Rita now.

I'm also pretty sure that professor Gellar is a figment of Travis's imagination, the manic side to his calm demeanor. Gellar was in public with the press release of his face and his mug on the paper but nobody even saw him, nor recognized him as being there when he was walking about. I'm thinking he was a professor of Travis's in school, he idolized him and no absorbed him into his conscious.

Bummed to see Brother Sam / Mos Def go, I could've watched him all season long - Emmy worthy performance there.

I think you're right about Gellar. I never thought of that . The way Travis sister treats him kinda leads me to believe he messed up in the head. How about his sister saying how talented of a painter he is? But we always see Gellar doing the paintings of the murders.

So Jonah copycat kills his mom and sister to lure Dexter? I could see that. I know that was a loose end fans wondered about.

In regards to Gellar (it's pretty much 100% guaranteed he's not a 'real' person at this point.) Does anyone think we'll come across a situation similar to Dexter's? Travis may have actually killed Gellar at one point, which hasn't been discovered or is known by anyone but Travis and that now Gellar acts as his conscious? It seems no one can find / no one knows Gellar's last whereabouts which has led us to believing he's on the run which is why police aren't treating this as a missing person's case.

do you remember a few episodes back when Travis was staring at Gellar? it looked like Gellar had blood dripping down his face(crown of thorns like). that was strange.

For the record I think Gellar is real and living.

I do remember that, that was to show what Travis saw, which is something that isn't there. He's envisioning Gellar as actually talking to God. It would be something he idolized him for and maybe killing Gellar was part of their whole "start the apocalypse" gambit, who knows?

Yeah I do think that maybe Noah wanted to lure Dexter out for something somehow. And why, if he did kill Rita, would he emulate his Dad, whom he hated? I mean who knows, it could've been Trinity that killed Rita, but I love that this show leaves you guessing every season and never ignores loose ends. I mean this season has some new writers in it, but they've come in and integrated other seasons and stories really well.
