Get a Mac.
Get real - Macs suck.
Try to get it with windows 7, forget vista.
Yeah, maybe - To be honest, I'm actually pretty partial to Windows XP. I've never really had any problems with it.

I've been using macs a while, probably longer than most mac users on here, and I say go with windows 7.

Ive had the same Pentium 4 desktop for about 6 years now, believe it or not...which has been mostly good. It's been a big slow lately, so I'm thinking of getting something else. I'm kind of looking at this refurbished system (Gateway FX6800-01E ), mostly because of the Core i7 and Radeon HD 4850, and the price. I kind of think that for that set-up, there's no way I'm getting a price close to that. Also, even though I'm pretty sure I could probably build a system, I don't think I want to go that route this time. What do you guys think?
Thanks.

Yeah but the Intel Core i7 is the top processor out there right now. Thanks for your answer, though.
