Problems with my Zune

I did try plugging it in to my computer and no matter what USB port I plugged it into, the computer doesn't recognize it and the Zune doesn't react at all.
I bought it from Circuit City and didn't buy any seperate extended warranties or anything. But it's been less than 30 days since I bought it. So I should be able to just take it in and get it replaced for free at the store, right? If so, can I just get my money back or will I have to get it replaced? Because I'm getting tired of MS so I think I'd rather just get an Ipod instead.

But seriously - I would take it back to Circuit City (those still exist?). Worst comes to worst, give Microsoft a call.

if not take it back to where you bought it, or take to a electronics repair
But zunes overall have more value than an iPOD, for all you iPOD lovers.

"The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences,
and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon,
for each day to have a new and different sun."

Weird problem though. I have the original 30GB Zune, from forever ago (before the 2nd gens came out) and it's still perfect.

Get an iPod.
Why?
I've had nothing but iPods and they've given me trouble. I've been careful with them, and they end up having problems. My friend has a Zune and he's:
1) Dropped it
2) Smashed it
3) Cut it
4) Burnt it
5) Drowned it
6) Shot it
7) [expletive]ed it
and it still works.

I had my iPod video since it first came out... I never had one single problem.
You are unbelievably lucky.
The only thing stopping me from converting to a Zune is the fact that I can't convert my songs that I bought from iTunes.

I just took it to Circuit City and they didn't check it out or even ask what the problem was. I just told them it stopped working and they gave me a new one
