Thats what I was thinking. And it may be a pre-ordained move that Vick is aware of.
If not, WTF do you need a Vick for when you have a McNabb? The games are so different?
Well see what happens.

You can almost never have too many weapons and weapons are something that the Eagles have been bad about for a while. Besides Brain Westbrook, they've never had an offensive threat and they shipped TO off after he helped them get to their only SB.

Vick is a different QB than McNabb. Imagine Philly running the Wildcat with McNabb, Vick, Westbrook, and McCoy on the field at the same time...endless possibilities.

More option is always good. Itll be entertaining for all of us to watch. Did they disclose how much they paid Vick? Itll be interesting to see who the franchise starts to value more if no trade is in the works.

2 year deal. First year is 1.6 mil and a second year option worth 5.2 mil.

ooohhhh so its almost like hes playing to redeem himself and hes in a contract year to get bigger bucks. He'll be trying his hardest thats for sure. Good TV entertainment. Road games especcialy. He has a chance to proove himself and shut everyone up if he steps up and plays well under all the pressure.

Yeh, he's basically gone from being the highest paid player in the NFL to being paid chump change (by NFL standards)

Pau Gasol is GONE

I was surprised by the team because of McNabb. But apparently McNabb lobbied for the Eagles to sign Vick.

Vick brings a really good dimension to the Eagles. People need to remember that Vick isn't your prototypical QB. This move will keep McNabb fresh as well.

While Vick was with the Falcons, the last two years that he played, they were the top rushing team in the NFL. Vick makes the running game stronger.

It will be really fun to watch when he and McNabb are on the field at the same time.

They've got nothing to lose.

And with Westbrook, Desean Jackson, McNabb, and Maclin [i think that's who they drafted], on offense, their speed is going to be RIDICULOUS.

people need to realize first of all this is a list of their skill position players now

Michael Vick
Donovan Mcnabb
Brian Westbrook
Lesean McCoy
Brent Celek
Jeremy Maclin
Desean Jackson
Kevin Curtis
Jason Avant
Leonard Weaver

also people need to remember andy reid is one of the more gifted offensive minds in the NFL

lets see the Defensive coordinators stop a formation with

kevin curtis, desean jackson, and jeremy maclin in the slot

offensive line of jason peters, todd herremans, jamal jackson, stacy andrews, shawn andrews

and then in the backfield oh just a shotgun with westbrook, mcnabb, and michael vick

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

or what about a Wildcat where mcnabb is at QB and michael Vick is wide right. comes in motion and either takes a reverse from mcnabb with desean and maclin going deep and passes it, or takes the reverse and runs the ball

or mcnabb keeps it and throws the pass, or runs it, or throws a dump pass to westbrook

you have got to be kidding me
