The place looks amazing because of all the amenities the employees receive.
- They have 11 restaurants that are completely free
- They have laundry service
- They have gyms located throughout the workplace
- You can bring your pets to work
- They have recreational amenities such as pools
- They let you borrow free electric cars to go run your errands
- They have bikes around the campus so that you can get from one side to the other

I'm pretty sure you get 20% of your time everyday to work on a project that you want to work on. Something along those lines.

The competition to get in there though is so outrages, that you might as well play the lottery.

I've seen this before, but it's still pretty amazing to see how a company such as google can have so much!

Google and Pixar are the two best places where to work in.

In Google you can customize your workplace, you can bring your personal projects and develop them in Google.

Meanwhile
those are Pixar offices:

My company did some work at the Dreamworks offices and let me tell you, it doesn't suck to work there.

These companies have it right.

Let people sleep until they can come in and work at their peak. Not everyone operates well on a 9 to 5 or 8to 5 basis, assuming everyone does is inane. Give people amenities that way they're encouraged to stay later at work and productivity and willingness to be productive outside of assigned hours increase. Treat people with a relaxed casual assertion and you'll get the same back.

It would be great if all companies realized what these companies have.

There's a reason the best places to work are also some of the most successful.

I KNOW!!

"The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences,
and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon,
for each day to have a new and different sun."
