I'm the moderator of Clubphillies.com. It's sparse and I often end up talking to myself over there during games. I'll try to post in here when the Phils take on teams that are represented on this board so we can talk some trash.

As long as Ryan Howard keeps hitting jacks for my fantasy team, I might as well be Phils fan.

Alright im a Yankee fan but i saw this Phillies rumor of acquiring Manny and it could be a race between Phillies and Angesl for Manny here is the rumor

Phillies interested in Manny

Sources said the Mets' No. 1 nemesis, the Phillies, have the best chance to trade for Manny Ramirez because Philadelphia manager Charlie Manuel has perhaps the strongest relationship with him of anyone in the majors. Manuel was Ramirez's hitting coach with the Indians from 1994-99 and his manager in Cleveland in 2000, and the two have remained close.

Why would they trade him to Anaheim?

they are both in the AL, and could meet in the post season.

any chances of the Philles trying to get rid of any of their OFs? Jenkins? Victorino? Werth?

How in the world did they manage to have those guys along with Burrell and Bourn and give them good amount of playing time last year

Last year they had Burrell, Rowand, Victorino, Bourn, and Werth.

If they're going to get rid of an OF, I hope it's neither Burrell nor Victorino. Big fan of those guys. Burrell is so underrated it's ridiculous and if the Flyin' Hawaiian stays healthy, he's going to put up some sweet numbers...100 runs, 40 sbs, 30 doubles. He even has 10 triple potential. I'm really excited about him.

I've been a Flyin' Hawaiian fan for a while. It would be crazy for Philadelphia to trade Him.

Victorino made a stupid baserunning mistake, but he had a big game nonetheless. Phils win 5 straight!
