I don't like this template.
The header''s too little and it comes out of the design style, the footer is like grown out of the design
the news order is confusionary, too much news, too much stuff to click on it.
I think it would be much better to put the Popular posts or the recent news in the sidebar, like every news blog out there.
The Jquery step-carousel is cool but the link section near it is not coordinated, it would be much better on a white background.
I like the post details, like the add-to social plugin implementation
like the sidebar widget implementations.
That's it.

aesthetically i love it but i don't like the layout. i'd rather just have a sports BLOG since its just simpler overall.
