GTA is my favorite video game series, but Saints Row is awesome...there's alot more variety to the side missions and games available in Saints Row...I could sit there all day doing the Insurance Fraud missions and never get bored...

I've played it.. not going to say it's better than the GTA series, but it's definitely fun.

SR2 was fun but i actually preferred GTA espcially because the driving is fun and physics based rather than w/e SR2 was

Never really tried any before, but by the looks of it, edition #3 seemed to get great reviews. I might pick it up eventually on the cheap. The new one seems okay, but was downgraded a bit review-wise.

^ No. Never even heard of that before, but thanks for the mention.

What are your thoughts on 4? Where and why does it fail in comparison to 3?

Also, I read earlier in here that at a time you thought this was better than GTA or at least funner. Still feel the same way even with the new GTA V?

^ The reviews have me a tad wary though.

How do you feel about it compared to GTA? Obviously GTA is more serious while Saints is the opposite. That's very well known the most obvious thing, but which do you have more fun in? Which allows for even more freedom and or creativity typically/options?

Yeah GTA is way more serious, while SR is goofy, silly and fun. SR has tons of creativity, you can create your character from the bottom up, like nearly everything...they even added customize-able weapons I think in the new one whereas in GTA V, they give you three guys and I guess you could customize them like the other GTA's, with clothes and hair.

But yeah, SR lets you be more creative while GTA has the story and etc.

I enjoy both series, however I would say I have more fun playing SR but haven't played either of the new ones so I can't really say anything about them.

Im more of a GTA fan than SR.  I played both. Didnt play SR4 yet.  I think GTA is more realistic while SR4 is just for shetz and giggles.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.
