Compa, we always joke around like that... it's cool, he's my boy, but I need to own him again.Just take it to the RT you two.
What does John Mayer have anything to do with the LP thread? Nobody said anything about John Mayer until you decided to take a cheap shot.I was saying the obvious. You are a John Mayer fan.

I only said that anyway, because you said that Linkin Park was garbage in the Linkin Park thread.
LP did fell off after the first two albums.

I was simply pointing out that Linkin Park is not your type of music, but the type of music that John Mayer produces is.What does John Mayer have anything to do with the LP thread? Nobody said anything about John Mayer until you decided to take a cheap shot.

I don't see anything negative about that.

I already told you I like LP, but I don't like some of their recent work.I was simply pointing out that Linkin Park is not your type of music, but the type of music that John Mayer produces is.
I don't see anything negative about that.

My favorite member is always right.Dunno what's so bad about John Mayer, I don't follow his stuff but I find his music to be very good. He's a great guitarist, makes great songs, what's the problem? He may have been poppy back in the day, but Contiuum was a great album. In relation to today's music scene his music can hardly be considered bad.

Couple of years ago he played at this guitar festival called "crossroads" that Clapton put together. Its pretty much a collection of the best blues guitarists from around the world all playing on the same stage (albeit at different times)
When I saw John Mayer was playing I kinda started to laugh. I was like WTF is this teenybopper dude doing at a place like this.
Needless to say he tore it up though. I bought one of his CD's after hearing him play and thought it was pretty good as far as the songs were concerned but it just wasn't what I was looking for.
It'd be cool if he stepped away from the pop stuff and devoted a whole album to just funk/blues type stuff. It probably wouldn't sell worth [expletive] but I would like it.
