I agree. we had them on the ropes and got conservative. Play calling always does that. But it works out in the end.
Let it be known that poor Matty Ice had to throw the game winner 60 yard pass to set up the FG twice.

And the Falcons knew Cam was gonna run. And thats all he did.
Heres Carolinas game plan.
Spread their wide outs, wait for the line backers and FS to commit to a receiver and let Cam run up the middle after the pocket forms.
It never works down the stretch. And it didnt work on the Panthers last 2 possessions did it?
