Michael Turner - Runner up in MVP voting
Tony Gonzalez - one of the best Tight Ends in NFL
Roddy White - up and comer. Fast. Great hands.
They have a exciting young team. I dont think theyre Superbowl worth on the defensive end. But looking forward the Falcons have promise for the future if they continue to build.

I think Atlanta will get to the NFC Championship and lose to the Eagles.
I expect great things from Matt Ryan this year.
on Atl sports radio they had a interview clip of Michael Turner. They asked him if he was going to sign a extension with the Falcons after this season and he said, "Im sold on the fact Matty (Matt Ryan) is going to be a one of the leagues best QB's real soon and if Matty aint going no where then neither am I."
Thats some real cool team atmosphere that ATL's captians got going on.

1st possesion went no where because of a holding call but Ryan was 2-4 hitting Tony G and Jenkins for 9 yards, and Turner had 12 yards on 3 carries.
Then:
Atlanta - 5:27
1st-10, ATL23 5:27 M. Turner rushed up the middle for 2 yard gain
2nd-8, ATL25 4:45 M. Turner rushed to the right for 11 yard gain
1st-10, ATL36 4:10 M. Ryan passed to R. White to the left for 11 yard gain
1st-10, ATL47 3:45 R. White rushed to the left for no gain
2nd-10, ATL47 3:13 M. Ryan passed to R. White to the right for 6 yard gain
3rd-4, DET47 2:32 M. Ryan passed to B. Finneran down the middle for 7 yard gain
1st-10, DET40 1:50 M. Turner rushed to the right for 40 yard touchdown. J. Elam made PAT
Then Ryan, Turner, Tony G and Roddie White came out. Cant wait for a Mattie to Roddie connect for a TD.

Cool read here:

Could Ryan already be good enough to guide this young team to the Super Bowl?
“He’d better be,” said tight end Tony Gonzalez(notes), the 33-year-old future Hall of Famer who came to the Falcons in an offseason trade with the Kansas City Chiefs. “That’s one of the reasons I was so happy to be traded here, because I think he’s ready. He’s definitely the leader of this team, and it all stems from hard work and intense preparation. He does so much studying before every game that when he’s out there, trust me, he’s not nervous in the least.”
Mattie 22 of 32 passes for a career-high 329 yards and a pair of touchdowns (90 and 45 yards) with a 110 QB rating.
Turner 97 yards on 22 carries and 3 TD's.
Roddie White 8 rec for 210 yards

Just wanted to shout the 4-1 record and the under rated defense that has the 3rd least points scored against them this season.
2 big road games coming,
Dallas and New Orleans (doh!)
Dallas should be no trouble whatsoever for ATL.
