theres a changing of the guard in the NFL. Falcons are the elite team. Everyone better just accept that and let it sink into reality. Matt Ryan is the best QB in the game statistically and when it comes to leadership and game IQ.
4-0 you haters

Happy yall beat panthers even though I thought yall were gonna win a lot easier than that

I agree. we had them on the ropes and got conservative. Play calling always does that. But it works out in the end.
Let it be known that poor Matty Ice had to throw the game winner 60 yard pass to set up the FG twice.

And the Falcons knew Cam was gonna run. And thats all he did.
Heres Carolinas game plan.
Spread their wide outs, wait for the line backers and FS to commit to a receiver and let Cam run up the middle after the pocket forms.
It never works down the stretch. And it didnt work on the Panthers last 2 possessions did it?

from NFL.com
Focus on quarterback Matt Ryan delivering against a pass rush that beat him up all day. For the first time in 20 years, a team pulled off a game-winning drive starting inside the five-yard-line with less than a minute left and no timeouts. And it was all because of this throw that the Falcons went on to win, 30-28.

Matty Ice was something like 4 or 5 pass yards short of his career high in a game where he was sacked for a career high 7 times

He's taking that next step this year...,

yea bro. definitely. And from his own end zone with the pocket collapsing dude through the ball 60-65 yard in the air and with pin point accuracy. #MattyIce4MVP
Were looking at the next NFL QB Legend and hes just barely getting his props.

Packers fan here. Congrats with your hot start fellas. Looks like Matty Ice is really coming on. Really like the guy. I just hope when the dust settles in the end the NFC can come down to a 4 team slugfest for a Super Bowl berth. I'd like it to be the Niners, Falcons, my Pack, and the Giants. That would be something.

I dont get why people acting surprised about Matt, he was the only reason Falcons were winning. He's been getting praise from the media since his rookie year

Slow down there bruh

matt has a lot of weapons so he's def not the only reason.

the critique of matt ryan is because he has come up small in the playoffs

Falcons 2007, 4-12
Draft Matt Ryan
2008, 11-5. 1st NFL pass a 60 yard TD. ROY
2009, 9-7. Falcons first ever back to back winning seasons. Despite record Ryan top 5 in TD's to INT.
2010, 13-3. Had to play GB in playoffs. They were a better team, primed and the favs even though they were a damn wild card team.
2011, 10-6. Had to play NY Giants in playoffs.
2012, 4-0. Falcons best start ever.

The Falcons w/o Matty Ice are nothing.
25% into the season Matt Ryan is the leading MVP candidate.
But yea, Roddy, Tony, Julio and under rated Harry Douglas with Turner running and now catching we have all the weapons.
Sack Ryan 7x and he still goes for 3 passing TD's and 375 yards and a game winner 60 yard pass in the air from his own end zone to set up the winning FG.

5-0! First time in team History.
MattyIce4MVP! (chanting) MVP MVP MVP MVP!
Let it be known the Falcons defense is gonna put concussions and cause fumbles on QB's that run out the pocket.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
