The Memphis Grizzlies signed free-agent center Hamed Haddadi, who played for the Iranian national team in the Olympics.

The 7-foot-2, 254-pound Haddadi averaged 16.6 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in Beijing.

The 23-year-old Haddadi spent the 2007-08 season playing for Saba Battery BC in the Iranian Super League.

Hmmm...I thought he wasn't allowed to sign with an NBA team?

Milicic will be traded. I definitely want to go to the game when Memphis plays LA to see all the Iranian fans go crazy

I remember seeing at least a couple of this guy's games or so during the olympics. Looks pretty decent. I think he may survive in the NBA. My biggest concern with him is his body though. I think he's really gonna' need to bulk up more, but other than that, he's definitely got some skills.
