okay. so i have the ipod touch.
[ first generation. ]
and i was planning on getting the new software.
the iphone 3.0 software. and just when i was
about to do the update, it said that it would delete
all of the stuff on my ipod. which makes sense. but i
was just wondering... is it possible to transfer all of my
stuff from my ipod to my computer? because i don't
save all the stuff onto my library. coz it takes up too
much space on my computer. :\
iPod help.

You can try using SharePod which taks out all your songs and you chose where you want to save them on your computer, external hard drive etc.

I wouldn't update yet. I've heard it doesn't work well with first gen touches, It makes them a lot slower.
It really only works with 2nd gen at the moment.

Just wait for the next OS, 3.0.1 which shouldn't be to far away due to all the bugs in the new one...
