The AL participants are weak this year, except for Mauer. Pena may surprise as well.

My picks for the derby:

NL - Toss up between Howard and Pujols. I'll take Howard, even though Pujols is one of my favorite players.

AL - Joe Mauer. Guy has a sweet stroke.

Fielder and Cruz both with 11 in the 1st rd.
Josh Hamilton has no business in the all star game he is batting less then .270 with 6 hrs. Juan Rivera and Jermaine Dye should of been considered instead, the fans make such useless votes.

All-Star games are all about popularity. I personally think they should do away with the fan vote, but that will never happen

My reaction with some of the Homerun Derby Players especially with Brandon Inge

But Congrats to Prince Fielder for winning the Homerun Derby. He and Nelson cruz were the only ones to put on a show.

Only one run was earned.
Plus you can argue that Jeter wasn't hit by the pitch, you could hear the ball hit the bat.
If Pujols didn't make that error, the second run wouldn't have come in anyway.

She made a base running mistake to get the final out.

What a cheap game. I expected better and typical NL.
