This will greatly affect USC's run game for this upcoming game Vs. Cal, I wonder what Cal will do to counter this. It should be a great game now that half of USC's run game is taken away.

USC has won the Last 5 games vs. Cal by a win margin average of 13.2 points
USC leads the all-time series 60-25-4.

I know you and other SC haters are loving how the season is going for us and to be honest I am not mad nor disappointed in how USC has performed this season. At the beginning of the season, I told family and friends I expected them to not be in the National Championship hunt. One reason was because it was going to have a tough time replacing players like Rey and Cushing, as well as a couple other players that went to the draft. Now I did fall victim to being blind after the first few games about the D, but even during that good defensive run, I still saw them as sloppy and young, and were no where close to being that type of defensive we had last season.

The other reason, which has me half wrong and half right, is Matt Barkley and the offense. MB has played beyond my expectations for his freshman year. He will only get better. But I was also worried about the offense getting going under the new OC. He has done a fair job this season, but I think they need to run way more play action passes, as that was very successfully while we were playing good.

Stanford was the one team I was worried about even before the season started. And after watching a full game, they are the best team in the Pac-10. I hate their coach though, and I can't wait till USC has the chance to run up the score on them. Many had a good laugh about the 2-point conversion when they were up 48-21, but I bet our program does not forget that.

All I can say is enjoy USC's down year. We have some very good young players waiting in the wings, and a new recruiting class coming in thats gonna be legit. Remember the names: T.J Bryant (CB), Jordan Campbell (LB), Jarvis Jones (LB), Devon Kennard (DE), T.J McDonald (S), Jawanza Starling (S), plus many more exciting play makers on the defensive end.

We'll be back. If you think this is the end, keep thinking that. I'm not worried, the only think that sucks is that I have to feel like a UCLA fan when it comes to football this year haha. But we are still a 3 loss team, we have another winning season coming our way. We'll take back whats ours soon enough.

It's never been alive this whole season. Even when USC for a short time WAS playing well. I don't know where the [expletive] everyone went this season, even before the horrible play. It sucks. I was like the most consistent poster here and that's not normal.

And Chicano, the USC thread was the same way the last season. We only have a handful of USC fans here and some don't post. It has nothing to do with how the season is going.

My thoughts on USC's last touchdown?

UCLA fans have nothing to whine about except why their coach called timeout when the game was over. Rick Neuweasel tried to be a punk by calling a timeout and Pete Carroll owned him. I am not one to like running up the score, but UCLA did it to themselves last night.

For the first time in many weeks, USC showed a type of swagger that they have been missing and a fire that's been distinguished was back. Plus the rilvary has most likely stepped it up another level. Should be fun next year!!!

Exactly. UCLA should not be butthurt. Pete saw a perfect opportunity to give the rivalry a little juice and he did just that.

Good news for the Trojans on next season. Ronald Johnson and Joe McKnight have both said they are returning for their senior seasons. Rojo coming back is HUGE for SC. He was poised to break out this season before an injury derailed his season. Rojo, if he stays healthy, will be big on special teams and the passing game.

An interesting game tonight with Oregon St playing BYU, should be exciting. I always root for the Pac 10 in the bowl games.
