I wouldn't say he's been spot on, but he rarely talks about rumors at length unless he truly believes something is up. I will say this though, there's a woman, who's name I can't remember, who knew about the most recent Joe McKnight rumors before it was reported and she's heard the same thing he has. I'm anxious to see how this all develops.
By the way, it seems like Joe Barry may come back, at least that's the speculation. He and Monte never got along apparently. Randy Shannon is supposedly interested in the job as well.

Rumors of Mark Banker coming to USC to be the DC floating around. Don't know if it has any legs, but I would be thrilled if it happened.
It's a big story on Rivals in the Premium section. The story is that sources close to him say he is very intrigued in the job and would probably jump at the chance to come back to USC where he was graduate assistant under Robinson.

Really 'SC?
That was actually blown out of proportion by a GT official.
USC's flight was delayed which led to practice starting late. They actually got dinner late but it was only a 30 minute delay.
Lost in all this was that GT arrived early and left early.
At first I thought this was a typical Kiffin deal but one of my co-workers is down in El Paso and Sun Bowl officials told him it was overblown by Georgia Tech and that their coaches are trying to play the "disrespect" card.

but I don't get why GT would "play the disrespect card"

Sounds legit
but I don't get why GT would "play the disrespect card"
I mean the disrespect card in terms of telling their players that USC doesn't respect them, like bulletin board material or extra motivation.

Oh ok. USC should win this game
Monte Kiffin is still our defensive coordinator...
Also Lee could be out of the game now with a knee injury and Curtis McNeal's status is questionable for the game too.
We SHOULD still win this game but there were other games we SHOULD have won as well so who knows.
