Hey all,
Here's my article on the latest Laker news - wild times at hand!
http://www.hoopsworl...?story_id=13174
I had suspected that Ariza was Plan B by how quickly Artest was landed - but originally Trevor was indeed Plan A. Mitch just reacted quickly . . .
BTW - I've been posting stuff as I go on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/EricPincus - things move so quickly I can't always get it up on HW or the boards in time!
Thanks
Eric
PS - you need to wade past the first section of the article which is on Kidd planning on returning to Dallas. Also at the end something on Marion and the Cavs.
Rumors: Ariza was Plan A

It was David Lee's fault for tryna high ball us, but it backfired so he decided to sign the same deal we gave em with Rockets.

Good article. I was hoping to bash it so you really disappointed me.
I do see the acquisition of Artest as an answer to players like Lebron James, Paul Pierce, Deron Williams, etc.. which I don't think Trevor is strong enough to do. Plus Artest can guard power forwards and cause so many mismatches and problems for the other teams.
