So who's on the rc? I didn't know about 3.5 until some days back. Loaded up the 3.5rc3 yesterday, then realised something is wrong with the TLN background. Thought TLN updated it's background to the black colorway or something, then realised Firefox 3.5 has implemented ICC tags or something along that line.

It darkens the images and make it bad. This is one major thing that I dun like. Realised it can be disabled, I immediately disabled it.

The following 2 fixes I can reference for anyone that needs it:

Color correction for images:
http://hacks.mozilla...lor-correction/
https://developer.mo...tion_in_Firefox

about:config
gfx.color_management.mode = 0

Restart browser for it to take effect.

Closing first tab closes entire window:
about:config
browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab = FALSE

Note that I only started using firefox from 3, so whatever may have happened with more experienced firefox users, please pardon me.

I been having errors with it and becomes annoying.

I just tried out Google Chrome and seems to be the best browser by far now, and very simple.

Apparently it's the Flash Player that was giving me the errors. I upgraded to Flash Player 10 same time as Firefox 3.5 and I figured Firefox was giving me the problems. For example I would login to Pay Pal and it would crash Firefox everytime. Apparently Flash Player 10 is terrible for OS running 64 bit. :(

Not sure if it's really 64-bit, but you tried removing adobe elements from firefox and reinstalling them?

part of the reason i went to windows 7 when the RTM released was that newer versions of firefox were having problems in vista, the most annoying of which was a new tab not loading. but continuing to say loading and rendering firefox usless...couldn't close the program, or end the process. sometimes if i waited upwards of 10+ minutes, the process would eventually end, but thats obviously not acceptable. i read forums full of people with the same issues i was having as well, most of which also believed vista was the culprit...haven't had a single problem since i started with win7, using firefox 3.5

clean OS install probably helps my cause as well though
