Honestly, my memory's pretty bad here, but can someone tell me what's the last game these guys called? My mind kinda tells me it was probably our last regular season game, but I kinda think they might've done at least a playoff game or two, maybe in the Jazz series, I don't remember for sure. Anyone know what's the last game they've done?

^ That's one of the things I love. AS CRAZY as it might sound, I honestly believe they call it on both sides more consistently than Breen, Jackson, & Van Gundy do. Maybe also because they don't work for the league as exclusively obviously too? Stu is awesome. The greatest way I mean this is when they show replays, if they see something that's a bad call, they'll almost NEVER keep their mouths shut. They'll almost always say something and everyone knows around the league, those that have league pass as well, that Stu & Joel are some of the most fairest/non bias commentators possible out there.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Stu Lantz is the man, he was even great when he filled in for Mychal Thompson on the radio in Game 6 of the WCF along with Spero. Joel Myers...don't miss him one bit.

I actually kinda like Joel Meyers...

It's always funny after Kobe does something crazy.

Meyers always says stuff like "Did it Again" "Do YOU Belieeeeve It" "KOBEEEE"

I miss them some what but can they honestly beat Van Gundy outrageous thoughts on how to improve the game or quoting somebody example

 & what about Mark Jackson great line "Player's name Posterize", "You're better then that", "Mama There goes that man", & just recently "Hand Down Man Down" Mark Jackson starts at :31 seconds

& finally Mike Breen with his BANG or "Player's Name Put's it In" saying when someone hit's a clutch shot
video starts at :44 seconds

Do I miss these guys yeah somewhat but not really that much when in my opinion when you got the Big 3 of commentating these Playoffs on Sunday National TV and the NBA Finals

JVG is okay in my book....but he literally blew a gasket when Jameer gave up that three to Fish at the end of regulation in Game 4.

I think he went into momentary homer mode....but he couldn't help himself. LOL.

He tries to be even-handed at least.

Breen is garbage though...and I don't really think Mark Jackson adds much of anything either.

So at the end of the day....even if you take away some of JVG's offbeat humor, I think I still prefer Joel and Stu to what either network (ABC/TNT) offers up.

Yep. They even try to help each team needs. They point out the error.

TNT is different. I love to listen to Collins, Charles, Walton, Reggie Miller. those guys are cool

the worst is Breen

^ Really? Ahh, Collins bores me most of the time and Reggie's voice is kinda ehh.. but when you have no choice, you might as well. I've never really experimented listening to the radio while watching the game on TV, but eh, who knows, maybe I'll try it sometime

TNT's coverage though, is still the best out there. Certainly it's not perfect and there are plenty of things I dislike, but out of all the choices there is, it still remains the best by far I'd say.
