Debating whether or not to go to the fight. Pretty sure I'll be in Vegas though. It was nuts for the Pac-Hatton fight, so this should be crazy fun too, although don't know if Cotto's fanbase will be close to as crazy and fun as Hatton's.

^^LOL haha Hatton's fanbase was insane! I never imagined Pac can knock him out in just two rounds, considering the fact that he is a true Welterweight. Pac vs Cotto is going to be a match to behold! I'm going to be cheering for Aling Dionisia.

havin a bad feeling for Manny in this one...its not the 'usual' pre-training issues that's going on
he can't train in the US til the last couple of weeks i believe and the communication disconnect between he and freddie has roach threatening to quit....not good...even if it wasn't cotto and it was some tomato-can tuneup, these are the types of distractions that can come back and bite you in the as5

I hate to be negative but it's frustrating to me when a great fighter like Manny makes it seem as if stardom and celebrity has taken his focus off of what may be the biggest fight of his career. I admire Cotto taking the initiative to not only train early but have this "take no chances" approach at it. I hope Manny snaps out of whatever funk he's in quick.

For a while they weren't. Yesterday they began their media tour at Yankee stadium so obviously now they're in touch. More recently, Freddie was asked by the Manila Bulletin if he'd been in touch with Team Pacquiao- his answer "“Nope,” “I am pissed and I am tired of these guys. They treat me like [expletive].” I don't know if there are mere differences within the camp, arrogance or Manny's pursuit of a congress/movie star/boxer lifestyle but something needs to give and Manny needs to make that happen. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried. Cotto has obviously displayed that he has something to prove and I can't help but think in the back of my mind that the guy I'm rooting for has let fame get to his head.

and yeah. roach is pretty much pissed at manny cause he's being snubbed around like a rat. the [expletive] is wrong with manny? you got 2 months to train, patch that thing up or you'll end up being KTFO by Cotto.
and BTW, i hate Manny running for congress. WTF is he thinking? he's not even smart enough to speak english fluently, yet alone be an author of a possible law here in the Philippines. if he wants to help the people, run for Mayor or Governor which focus on infrastructures and not law. simple as that.
