UCLA guard Jrue Holiday is hoping to be the first overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.

"I'm shooting for No. 1 to be honest," Holiday told The New Post. "I'm definitely shooting for the sky."

The Clippers have publicly stated that they will use the No. 1 pick on Oklahoma forward Blake Griffin.

I guess Jrue wants stay here in LA. Even if its playing for the Clippers.

Same here.
"I saw a lady on T.V. She was born without arms. Literally, she was born with her hands attached to her shoulders... and that was sad, but then they said, "Lola does not know the meaning of the word 'can't.'" And that to me was kinda worse... in a way... ya know? Not only does she not have arms, but she doesn't understand simple contractions. It's very simple Lola, you just take two words, you put them together, then you take out the middle letters, you put a comma in there and you raise it up!" -Mitch Hedberg

Didn't he say he was shooting for the first pick? He won't be and I bet he will admit that but this kid has skills and if he stays in college he could be a top 5 pick next year. He had to take a back seat to Collison which perhaps was a good thing in the long run but watching him this year he has great upside.

I agree, he needs to stay in college and work on his game.

He is a top 10 player in the draft. I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone by #5.

That may be true. If I am the clippers I may try to trade Eric Gordon to someone that could draft him. Having Holiday and Blake would be a nice draft. Holiday could learn the point from Baron while getting alot of time at the two. Plus Holiday is a stud on Defense. Always guarded the best player in college.

I wouldn't trade Gordon. That guy is going to be a helluva player.

Holiday will be a better player imo. Save the laughs you may not be so funny if that is true.
