Haven't you noticed? Majority of sports athletes do this. It's one of the most common sayings. If you pay attention to it too much, it can become annoying, but if you just let it slide, you get used to it.

Many athletes are not well-spoken. You get the exceptions every now and then, but a majority of them speak like they have never taken a public speaking course. Sorry Lebron, had to throw you in this thread haha:
