The Confederations Cup is a tournament played between the winners of each continental tournament. It's a pretty useless tournament imo and not sure many teams take it seriously, but here are the groups and the games:

Group A
South Africa
Iraq
New Zealand
Spain

Group B
USA
Italy
Brazil
Egypt

Fixture List

Group A
June 14 South Africa-Iraq (Johannesburg, 14.00 UK time)
June 14 New Zealand-Spain (Rustenburg, 18.30 UK time)
June 17 Spain-Iraq (Bloemfontein, 14.00 UK time)
June 17 South Africa-New Zealand (Rustenburg, 18.30 UK time)
June 20 Iraq-New Zealand (Johannesburg, 18.30 UK time)
June 20 Spain-South Africa (Bloemfontein, 18.30 UK time)

Group B
June 15 Brazil-Egypt (Bloemfontein, 14.00 UK time)
June 15 USA-Italy (Pretoria, 18.30 UK time)
June 18 USA-Brazil (Pretoria, 14.00 UK time)
June 18 Egypt-Italy (Johannesburg, 18.30 UK time)
June 21 Italy-Brazil (Pretoria, 18.30 UK time)
June 21 Egypt-USA (Rustenburg, 18.30 UK time)

Sunday:

New Zeland 0- Spain 5
South Africa 0- Egypt 0

Easy to Spain.
SA was the surprise tied with Egypt.

Yesterday :

Usa 1- Italy 3
Iraq 3- Brasil 4

Brasil won in the las minut by penaty (I think clear).
Usa played great in first half but with one player less by red card. They are a good group.

I already created a thread for this :(.

Anyway, Brazil aren't so good at the moment and Spain have too many holes. I have to favour Italy at the moment.

Let's go Brazil! Can't believe they only won 4-3 against Egypt (and in the 90th minute because of a penalty), but whatever, a win is a win. Time to beat USE in a couple of days (who I normally root for except when they're playing Brazil).

Egypt are a good solid side, but Brazil should really beat them.

I've still got Italy as favourites though.

Sorry darth I didnt see.

Spain is a great team but without Iñiesta we´ll have more difficults to keep the ball and that is very important for our team.

Brasil havent D, and that against Spain or Italy is very dangerous.

Italy? However, playing bad but arriving to the finals. The other day I read Daniele de Rossi was born in USA, its true?

Pd: please, admn, cut and paste this topic into Darth topic?

Brazil just in general are poor because their manager keeps picking by the players reputation, not their actual talent. He will 100% be sacked after the WC.

Spain or Italy are probably my favouritess to win, but untill we see how the two teams are playing in this cup, it is hard to tell.

And yes, it's Giuseppe Rossi who was born in the USA.
