i just feel real good about our guys. they dont get rattled. They play tough. IMo this is a reversal of last years final

I'm fine with all the predictions except for Legler.

The dude is chronically wrong about just about everything NBA related.

See I just don't buy the bulletin board material stuff NOW.

This is the NBA Finals, if you need to be motivated by a bunch of media analysts then you don't deserve to play for a title.

talking about motivation, read this

finally someone admits they didn't take the finals last year seriously

he Lakers have won 14 championships, none since 2002, despite Bryant being considered the league's premier player. The Lakers have had a lot of young, unproven prime-time performers and a discernable lack of crunch-time veteran role players.

Additionally, complacency bred during a relatively easy regular season has triggered inconsistency and uneven performances, one reason why the Lakers struggled in the playoffs.

"Last year it was, 'Oh, we're excited to be in the Finals,' " Lakers frontcourt star Pau Gasol said Sunday. "This year it's, 'OK, we're in the Finals — now let's go to work.' It's a big difference when it comes to a mind-set."

Teammate Luke Walton said: "It's definitely more business this year, having pretty much the same team. Just getting here doesn't really mean anything."

Abbot does a lot of great work promoting the NBA blogosphere, and apart from being an unabashed Blazers fan, he's got a great basketball mind and is an unbiased analyst who isn't afraid to tackle the unpopular questions
