I say stretched into 3 hours..but i love baseball cause it's not as reliant on athletes rather than just skilled players..much more cerebral as well

Pitching is such an epic mind game... I absolutely love it. I still find it hard to watch baseball on TV more than once or twice a week, though.

While pitching is a great part of the game and definitely is a mind game, I think batting is the main challenge of it all.
A pitch traveling 90mph from 60 ft. away allows only .4 of a second to react to the pitch.

I'll never understand how it's so popular. I like the Dodgers, but unless it's the playoffs, I'll maybe watch 10 full games all season. It's definitely one of the more boring sports.

by the way, i wasn't trying to take anything away from the batting aspect of baseball...merely saying you won't be able to watch a game without an appreciation for pitching
