How about putting Paul Pierce on a team with Al Jefferson, Wally Szcerbiak, Delonte West and Kendrick Perkins and lets see how good he does?
oh wait that happened, they had a 24-58 record along with a 18 game losing streak.
Excellent post.
Plus, all the starters on Pierce's teams would have easily of made our Laker teams. Meaning, Kobe nearly got past the Suns in the playoffs with a worse team than Pierce lost 58 games with.

Perkins > Brown. Jefferson > Odom. WALLY ZSCERBIAK > Fluke. DELONTE WEST is way way way ahead of SmAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaAsh!
And yet Pierce lost 58 games with this unit? My goodness.

Good job conveniantly leaving out that he was with Al before Al broke out, Szerbiak was always injured, and you are trying to pass off Delonte West and Kendrick Perkins as better players? Give me Odom and Kwame any day over those tools.

Who cares? If he is the best player in the world shouldnt he be able to lift his team to a better record? How about adding the fact he was in the East that was really weak a couple years ago?

Los Angeles Lakers Combined Record 05-06,06-07: 87-77 plus 07-08:144-102
When you take into account that Paul Pierce isn't even the leader of the team, it's Garnett, this is clearly enough said.

Paul Pierce is a really good basketball player. He MIGHT get into the HOF if he continues to win with the Celtics and put up good numbers. Maybe.
