Stephon Marbury will be a free agent and will need to decide what kind of playing career he will have from here on out; trying to be a starter or accepting a role play position.

“Being the sixth man coming off the bench is not a bad thing, but I know that I’m a starter,” Marbury said. “So it really doesn’t matter, as long as I’m on the court.”

Marbury was asked if starting somewhere else would be more important than remaining with the Celtics.

“I don’t know,” he said. “I have to sit down and evaluate the situation.”

But wait, I thought Marbury was the final piece that Boston really needed to bolster their bench and their championship run.

Marbury does no team no good.

File that career under "done".

I can see him going to a team who def needs a starter PG.

...and that team will fail.

Marbury cannot lead himself to the bathroom without some inevitable problem, let alone a team of professional athletes.

idk fido, I think Marbury, in the right situation can help a team.....he isnt the ket for anyone, but he can help a team
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Marbury should go to the Heat, hes still a solid PG and definitely a starter still in this league.

Well obviously if Garnett had been at full strength Boston would be playing Cleveland right now instead of Orlando.
