I would've been really angry if we would have lost this game. I just cant imagine how Denver fans feel... Hahah but yeah throughout Laker games I'm usually calm and confident but for some reason it was so hard to feel comfortable this whole game... But hey they pulled it out.

I expect more aggressiveness from Pau and smarter decisions from Lamar.

In the playoffs, a win is a win. Guys stepped up in clutch moments, pretty much Ariza and Fisher. But the other guys will get going.

Me neither. Don't get me wrong. I love seeing Kobe dominate, but he was clearly exhausted after the game.
Andre Iguodala via Twitter - It's not even close...and I'm not talkin bout the score.

They are probably blaming the refs as most would be here if we had lost. I don't blame them. Terrible calls down the stretch in Lakers favor.

I'm blaming the refs and we won. They were piss-poor.

I was VERY impressed with the Lakers tonight. They didn't lie down and take anything and they kept pushing and pushing to get the lead, and finally Kobe did his thing.

Hopefully they keep playing hard even when shots aren't falling, and lets get out of this series quick!

GO LAKERS!

PS: The fans were great tonight.

Like what? Didn't you see when Nene was acutally had his arms around the WHOLE body of Pau Gasol and they didn't call anything? Or that 3 Billups hit down the stretch, and he was out of bounds?

Not gonna lie, I was questioning why Fisher was even still part of the rotation during the first half. Things turned around for him after he hit that buzzer beater though. Just one of those times that I'm glad I was wrong. He still made stupid mistakes though, but he hit some big shots for us.

Lakers stood their ground and fought to the end!! Love how they never gave up!
QUOTE
Also, remember this when the TNT guys tell you that Andrew Bynum is "injury prone" -- it's because Kobe Bryant fell on his leg. He's injury prone because someone fell on his leg. Put that in your pipe when one of them says something along the lines of "I just don't know if they can rely on him." Can they rely on Kobe to not fall down and tumble into his leg, again?

Our 3 towers played below average and we still managed a win. Kobe seemed to be the only guy playing at a high level throughout the game. And we still won? So amazing..

just imagine if everyone plays up to their potential! :)
who they want? they want Kobe
and what he want? he want the trophy

no but the way we were being shoved around and not getting any calls was rediculous. they got a lot more calls their way (or no calls) than we did.

Agreed, Fisher hit big shots... the game turned after Kobe dished it to him for a three to take a 1 point lead. The crowd got in it after that. All about momentum.

Yea they called the game horrible both ways, mostly in the Nuggets favor the whole game. They shot 11 more free-throws than us.

It can go both ways. Nuggets did have more go their way but it still shouldn't have been as close as it was.

I'm glad we had a close game like this. That's where you see who was made for these situations and who is best left spectating.
Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.

Championship poise indeed with the big steal, big 3, huge free throws, & the way Mamba took it to the hole knowing he was gonna get wacked.
