Change of tone in your usual post-game threads Mr. Laker. ;)

I agree though. They didn't panic and kept their poise. They will come out better in Game 2.

My big concern is the lack of focus they usually have in the first quarter, and that gets us into deep deficits.

True, i have the same concern. But i thought they needed to get the feel of the nuggets...only my opinion.

But I think a huge positive to come out of this game is that we actually battled back from that double digit deficit. That was unheard of in the Houston series. Once we were down, we were out.

True, but we can't always count on them coming back, but we have the firepower and will to do it though.

Anyone feel like LA is going to be more focused on Thursday and winning by 10+?

I loved the game. Calls were calling wrong either ways (no need to complain), the game was close and tight. Just flat out sick.

I do, they now know and have more time to prepare for what the Nuggets are going to do. Lakers by 11

everything was not going our way tonight. it looked like denver was going to steal it...everything was going their way except free throws... i am proud of how our team fought tonight.

Now i remember why i hate watching laker games with my dad, he expects a 20+ blowout every playoff game, and if it's close he hates it, telling me that we should be blowin em out so that he can sit back, drink a beer and enjoy. this was great.

Our 3 towers played below average and we still managed a win. Kobe seemed to be the only guy playing at a high level throughout the game. And we still won? So amazing..
