i disagree...george karl really is a changed coach..the team is more committed to defense (thats all they preached in the summer) and melo is clearly a changed player and brought his olympic experience with him to denver...a long with the addition of a healthy and hungry nene and chris anderson who was 2nd in the league in block shots in 20 minutes behind dwight howard...it really is a full team effort i feel..of course chauncey still has A LOT to do with it with his leadership on and off the court and his championship pedigree

Billups has had more of a positive effect on this team than anything George Karl has done. The players themselves have attributed their defensive play to Chauncey Billups being on their team.

Bleeding purple & gold...

Actually, Kobe held Billups in check. He really only had a few big threes when Kobe was guarding Melo (one of which he stepped out of bounds on).
Andre Iguodala via Twitter - It's not even close...and I'm not talkin bout the score.

There's only Mr. Big Shot and that's Robert Horry.

Those two step back threes Chaunce hit tonight were ridiculous!!!

I hope that Phil and Crew makes the major adjustments because Chauncey and J.R isn't gonna be cold the rest of the series

Chauncey is under rated if you ask me.
A record tieing 7 straight years to a conference Championship game...and with 2 different teams which has never been done before.

When he was on Detriot people loved to praise Sheed, Prince and Rip. Chauncey was always the quiet side show.
Now hes off Detriot and they are below a subpar team.

The Nuggets got their butts kicked in round 1 last year w/o Billups.
Now Billups is a Nuggie and their playing in the WCF.

Whatever dude does it seems to work well doesnt it?

Hes been the best PG in the game for 5 years now.
And hes never been mentioned as a possible MVP candidate. Not even a mention....lol.

But I can’t love you obsessively for much longer.

Smooth enough to step out of bounds, hit a step back 3 & get away with it.
