A common misconception is that he can shoot but he can't. He's a liablility out there. Shannon is a far better shooter, scorer, defender, and passer. He doesn't make dumb mistakes like Vuja[expletive] tends to do either. I'll take Ariza's game over Sasha's game any day of the week.

Annoying and nuisance does not make you an effective defender.

his annoying and nuisance defensive style might draw some techs from the nuggets..which i suppose is a good thing....

take one for the team sasha

Sasha is a competitor, it isnt a problem
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

thats the difference between sasha and JR smith

JR smith can fix his issues and get going while sasha continues to be in free fall

more details

"We had a little incident on Sunday [in Game 7 against Houston]," he said after Wednesday's practice.

"Sasha [Vujacic] didn't have a shot a couple times down the court when he was open, so he took a shot that was an airball, that was just something he wanted to do. And the guys on the bench lit him up. . . .

"On the other hand, we talked to our lead guards, that you have to continually understand that [Vujacic] is out there for that reason, to carry that threat."

Actually, it was a spat between Vujacic and Jordan Farmar, the two youngest Lakers, their actual ages notwithstanding.

Also, the Lakers' coaches would have liked to let both of them fight to the death, if it didn't leave them short-handed.
