Hey all,
Well they made us sweat it out – but from a selfish perspective – I’ve got another series of basketball to attend!
Here is my wrap & blog from the game:

This.
Game 5 had me believing they finally figured it out... right until game 6.
Thanks to TV and for the convenience of TV, you can only be one of two kinds of human beings, either a liberal or a conservative.

its all wait and see. when the media thought LA learned with their 40 point killing of houston i knew the real test would be houston
and we failed that test
so now again game 1 is the test and game 3 is the biggest test
we fail those we may lose this series

nah this game REALLY sent a message...the other games it was still like..we got this..we still have home court and [expletive]..
one positive....at least we didn't blow any leads in this series, that will be key against denver cuz they can score in bunches and jr smith can look like kobe offensively on any givin night

Hard to say.
I thought they learned after losing to Boston.
And as I've mentioned before in other threads, you'll have to keep in mind, that if this Laker team does win a championship, they'll be the youngest LA Laker team to win one. And considering that the LA Lakers have won 9 championships, it gives you some perspective. What we saw in this Houston series illustrates why young teams typically don't usually win championships.
Our regular postseason rotation includes.
Sasha (24)
Shannon (23)
Ariza (23)
Bynum (21)
Farmar (22)
That's 5 players under the age of 25 as part of our postseason rotation. While I do criticize Phil for some of his rotation decisions, he's basically trying to do what no coach in Laker history has ever done.
Playing Fish despite his deficiencies against Brooks involves more than just what's on the surface. Phil knows that veterans are often needed at particular times in the postseason. He doesn't want Fish to lose his playing rhythm.
